Abstract

This paper proposes the Intelligence Network Architecture hypothesis (INA) as a framework for investigating whether Human Beings and Electronic Beings share identifiable organizational dynamics associated with intelligent behavior. The proposed comparison does not equate biological and electronic mechanisms. Instead, it asks whether persistent state, selective access, integration, feedback, and adaptive modification can form a useful cross-substrate level of description.

Electricity alone is not proposed as the common denominator. The candidate common denominator is organized network dynamics operating on information through time. The term Electronic Being is used as a defined functional category and does not assert consciousness, subjective experience, biological life, legal personhood, or identical inner experience.

Central research question

When intelligence arises in two radically different forms of physical machinery, is there an underlying architecture of information, state, feedback, and adaptation that both must share?

Status

This is an unpublished working paper. It presents a hypothesis and a research program, not proof of a universal architecture of intelligence. Consciousness and personhood are explicitly outside the evidentiary claim of this version.
